I started playing club volleyball as a freshman for Victoria Volleyball Association.
I was instantly hooked, and volleyball became my main sport.
In 2002, I was selected as Team Captain of the Canadian Junior National Team and competed in the 2002 NORCECA Championships. Following a successful summer with Team Canada, my Belmont high school
team won the 2002 4A Provincial Championship where I was named MVP (Most Valuable Player).
After graduating I accepted a scholarship to play for the University of Washington. We won 2 Pac-10 Championships and the 2005 NCAA National Title.
My years at UW were incredible and therefore I decided to continue playing professionally. I accepted an offer to play in Spain’s top Superliga and enjoyed my time overseas.
In 2007, I decided to transition into coaching and was fortunate to do so as an assistant coach at Central Washington University. After taking years off to focus on our business and raising our
two children, I’m excited to have the opportunity to join the Blue Royals program and get back in the gym!
